Hello, my dear readers! I hope you are all doing well and enjoying the beautiful spring weather. Today, I have a very special and exciting topic to share with you: my experience as a member of the Future Council U24!
You may have heard of the Future Council U24 before, but if not, let me give you a brief introduction. The Future Council U24 is the first representative council for young people in Switzerland whose participants are selected by a wide pool. It is an innovative and inclusive platform for promoting active democratic participation among the 16-24 age group. The council debates a national future topic chosen by youngsters and presents their recommendations to politicians and the public.
I was one of the lucky 80 participants who were gradually selected to be part of the Future Council U24 in 2023. I was thrilled and honored to have this opportunity to make my voice heard and to contribute to the future of our country. The topic that we chose to discuss was “Mental health for young people”. This topic was very relevant and important to me, as I care deeply about the well-being of myself and others, especially in these challenging times.
The Future Council U24 took place over three weekends starting from September to November 2023. We had a diverse and dynamic group of young people from different backgrounds, regions, languages, and opinions. We learned about the topic from experts, stakeholders, and peers. We exchanged our views and experiences in small groups and plenary sessions. We brainstormed ideas and solutions for improving the mental health situation of young people in Switzerland. We drafted and voted on our recommendations and presented them to the public in a final event.
It was an amazing and enriching experience for me. I learned so much from being part of the Future Council U24. Here are some of the key insights and reflections that I gained from this process:
  • Mental health is a complex and multifaceted issue that affects everyone differently. There is no one-size-fits-all solution or approach for addressing it. We need to respect and support the diversity of needs, preferences, and experiences of young people when it comes to their mental health.

  • Mental health is influenced by many factors, such as personal, social, environmental, economic, political, and cultural factors. We need to consider these factors when we think about how to prevent, treat, and promote mental health among young people. We also need to address the root causes of mental health problems, such as stress, discrimination, violence, poverty, isolation, stigma, etc.

  • Mental health is a human right that should be accessible, affordable, and available for all young people in Switzerland. We need to ensure that there are enough resources, services, and professionals that can provide quality mental health care for young people who need it. We also need to reduce the barriers and challenges that prevent young people from seeking or receiving mental health care, such as cost, distance, waiting time, language, culture, etc.

  • Mental health is a shared responsibility that requires collaboration and coordination among different actors and sectors. We need to involve young people themselves in the design, implementation, and evaluation of mental health policies and programs that affect them. We also need to foster partnerships and dialogue among different stakeholders, such as government agencies.

Hi, everyone! I hope you are all doing well and staying safe. Today, I want to share with you something that I am very passionate about: Bollywood spy, crime, and thriller shows on digital plateform. As you know, I love watching these kinds of shows because they are so exciting and intriguing. They always keep me guessing and on the edge of my seat. That’s why I decided to write this article, where I will recommend and review some of the best Bollywood spy, crime, and thriller shows on Netflix and Amazon Prime in 2023. These are the shows that I have watched and enjoyed recently, and I think you will love them too. And before you ask, no, this is not a sponsored post. I am not getting paid by Netflix neither by AmazonPrime to write this. This is just my honest and personal opinion, based on my own taste and preferences. So, without further ado, let’s get started!

If you are looking for some thrilling and engaging web series or movie to watch right now, you might want to check out these four titles: Choona, Farzi, Khufiya, and The Night Manager. These are all Bollywood latest shows that have been released in 2023. They also belong to different genres and styles, such as comedy, crime, spy, and action. Here is my review of these four web series and why I liked them.

Choona: This is a comedy series that stars Jimmy Shergill, Monika Panwar, Angira Dhar, Deepak Dobriyal, and others. It is about an unlikely group of misfits who plot a heist to exact revenge on a ruthless politician. I loved this series because it was hilarious and entertaining. The dialogues were witty and funny, the situations were absurd and amusing, and the performances were brilliant and charming. The series also had a social message about the corruption and injustice in the Indian political system, and how ordinary people can fight back with their wit and courage. The series was a fun and enjoyable watch that made me laugh and cheer for the underdogs. I gave this series a 9 out of 10 rating.

Farzi: This is a crime thriller series that stars Shahid Kapoor, Vijay Sethupathi, etc. Farzi is a thrilling web series that explores the dark and dangerous world of counterfeiting money in India. The series follows Sunny, an artist who works at his grandfather’s printing press, which is on the verge of shutting down due to financial troubles. Sunny decides to use his artistic skills to create fake rupee notes that look identical to the real ones. He teams up with his best friend Firoz, who helps him distribute the notes in the market. Together, they hope to make a fortune and escape their poverty. The series also had a psychological aspect that explored the motives and morals of the characters involved in the crime world. The series was a captivating and thrilling watch that kept me on the edge of my seat with its twists and turns. I gave this series an 8 out of 10 rating.

Khufiya is a spy thriller based on a true story about the underbelly of India’s intelligence community in the late '90s. It stars Tabu, Ali Fazal and Badhon. It is based on true events and is based on a book ‘Escape to Nowhere’, written by the former Chief of the Counter Espionage Unit of R&AW, Amar Bhushan. The series has an IMDb rating of 7.9 and is acclaimed for its realistic portrayal of the spy world, its complex characters, and its riveting direction. The main story revolves around a R&AW member who is suspected of leaking confidential documents to CIA agents. The series shows how he tries to prove his innocence and expose the real traitor, while facing danger and betrayal from all sides. The series also depicts the personal lives and emotions of the spies who risk everything for their country.I enjoyed this series because it was fascinating and authentic. The portrayal of the spy world was realistic and gritty, the characters were complex and intriguing, and the direction was riveting and immersive. The series also had a touch of Bangladeshi locations, talks, and actors, which added to the realism and relevance of the series. For example, some of the scenes were shot in Dhaka and some of the characters spoke in Bengali. Also, one of the actors in this series were from Bangladesh: Azmeri Haque Badhon, who played the role of Charu Mohan, a R&AW operative who is Krishna Mehra’s (Tabu) partner and lover; and the main villain was a bangladeshi character "Brigadier Saqlain Mirza", a Bengali defense minister who was involved in the arms trade and had connections with the CIA and the ISI. Badhon gave brilliant performances in this series, showing her versatility and talent. She also shared screen space with some of the finest actors in India such as Tabu and Ali Fazal. Khufiya is an intriguing and compelling watch that will make you question everything you see. I gave this series a 7 out of 10 rating.

The Night Manager is an action series that will keep you hooked with its gripping and glamorous story. It is based on the novel by John le Carré and stars Anil Kapoor, Aditya Roy Kapur, Saswata Chatterjee. It follows an ex-soldier who works as a night manager at a luxurious hotel in Bangladesh. He gets recruited by a British intelligence agency to infiltrate the inner circle of an arms dealer who is responsible for many wars and atrocities. The series is exhilarating and explosive, with thrilling plot twists, stunning action sequences, and captivating performances. The series also explores the moral dilemma of the protagonist, who has to balance his duty, his conscience, and his emotions as he gets closer to his target. The series also showcases the exotic and diverse locations of Bangladesh, where some of the scenes were shot with realistic details and local languages. The series is a high-octane and lavish watch that will leave you breathless and amazed. I gave this series a 6 out of 10 rating.

These are the four web series that I recommend you to watch on Netflix and AmazonPrime if you are looking for some quality entertainment in 2023. I think they are the best ones of 2023 because they have excellent stories, performances, direction, production values, genres, styles, messages, emotions, etc. They also have something for everyone’s taste and preference. I hope you enjoy watching these web series as much as I did. 😊
